Stroud District Council announces the completion of £42,000-worth of stone repairs and cleaning to the Anti-Slavery Arch in Paganhill. Stroud District Council’s Head of Property Services describes the arch as a ‘nationally important monument’ and says that the council is pleased that they ‘have been able to invest in its preservation for future generations’. The accompanying press release mentions that the Community Representation Taskforce plaque has been repaired ‘after a minor flaw in its construction was identified’.
