Anti-Slavery Arch is restored by Stroud District Council
The Anti-Slavery Arch is restored by Stroud District Council between 1960 and 1961 at a cost of £1,000, much of which comes from individual donations. Building works begin for a new comprehensive school nearby, named Archway School.
